Our Dream Bathroom Reveal
My Fianće and I bought our home in Ipswich. It is a quirky 1950's weatherboard that was built and lived in by the family we bought it from. It still had its fair share of dolphin tiles, outdated wallpaper, all making it the perfect "renovator's dream".
Our bathroom walls were all asbestos so we knew the bathroom would have to be completely ripped out, and that we would have to start all over again, which was actually a cloud with a silver lining, because that gave us a blank canvas to work with.
My design brief was a timeless style, with a beach house coastal vibe, a signature tile and a must have tub big enough to swim in! We styled the room so that it would coordinate well with the art deco and eclectic bohemian styling of the rest of the house. I wanted to have a coastal beach house vibe to help unwind after a busy day at work.
